JOB DUTIES: Responsible for test application creation, including but not limited to: requirements generation, hardware and software design, procurement, validation, qualification, installation, and documentation. Test projects will range from small to large, with varying complexity. Manage assigned project work in a timely manner and support duties. Participate in goal setting and must insure that approaches to test development are in compliance with DSI's Quality System. Responsible for Project Management; Develop and/or contribute to project plans in support test system development for new products, and support both manufacturing test systems and design verification test system needs. Specify, develop and validate test system hardware and software. Communicate with and manage supplier relationships for outsourcing of work as necessary. Engage with customers internally at DSI, such as manufacturing, Product Development, Supplier Development, Design Assurance and others. Deliver test systems per set project plans.
|Qualifications:||REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related. Must have knowledge of the following gained through coursework, training or internships: Software Engineering principles; Test engineering and / or instrumentation design; Utilization of manufacturing test and data acquisition processes or applications; Manufacturing principles and practices as applied to the development of new test system; Test process development ability demonstrated through design, utilization of LabVIEW, flowcharts, and validation; Manufacturing Test Requirements Specification, Test System Validation reports; Test engineering and test process development; Developing and inventing new manufacturing test processes; Utilization of typical bench top instrumentation (DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies, etc.); and Analog and digital circuit design.|
